applied kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a technique based on the relationship of muscle strength to health.

There is a definite and real connection between muscles, glands, and organs, and by testing the strength of certain muscles, we can learn about the health or condition of the gland or organ to which it is related. Specific muscle weakness can signal distant internal problems such as nerve damage, reduced blood supply, chemical imbalances or other organ or glandular problems. Posture, gait and range of motion are also evaluated. AK is used as both an assessment tool and as a therapeutic modality.  Muscle weakness can be corrected with the use of vitamins, minerals, herbs, homeopathics and/or the use of certain acupressure techniques.
