Kinesio Tape is comfortable, non-restrictive tape which is applied to soft tissue along muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

It works by interfering with painful signals to the brain following an injury. Much like the relief from rubbing your shin after banging into a table, the tape changes the way your body interprets pain and then turns down the volume. Almost instantly, the nerve endings calm down and clients often feel almost miraculous relief.

When Kinesio Tape is applied to the skin, it has a microscopic lifting effect underneath the skin and between the many layers. This allows for greater blood flow to and from an area, all while allowing the by-products created by inflammation to be removed more quickly.

It does so by allowing congested or compressed blood vessels (capillaries, lymph vessels, arteries, veins) to flow more freely. It also creates more room in between layers of fascia, muscle, fat, skin, and other structures.  Kinesio Tape can also be used preventively to support a weak muscle or joint or to delay muscle fatigue.
