Honey powder is natural honey, spray dried into a fine powder. Honey attracts the dirt from skin pores and dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Use in soap, milk baths, facial masks, and salves. Honey is a natural humectant, with the ability to attract and retain moisture, as such, it is useful to include in healing salves and to use as a natural wound cover. It is also an antimicrobial, found to be useful in the treatment of minor burns and scrapes. Honey Powder is a blend of 50% Honey and 50% maltodextrin, (which is modified corn starch). Maltodextrin is used in hundreds of baking products, as well as a product itself, such as a sports drink.
