Germall Plus is a highly effective, broad spectrum, non-paraben preservative for oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions and water soluble formulations. The components of Germall Plus, when combined at a 99:1 ratio, exhibit a synergistic preservative effect. The synergism lowers the amount of Germall Plus necessary for proper preservation. Germall Plus has no known chemical inactivators. It is compatible with virtually all cosmetic ingredients, including complex ingredients such as proteins and surfactants. As a result, Germall Plus can be incorporated into a variety of leave-on and rinse-off cosmetic and personal care formulations for reliable preservation.
