Kaolin Clay
Kaolin Clay also known as China Clay and White Cosmetic Clay is found in virtually all cosmetics the natural adsorbent properties makes it essential in hygiene products and is often found in soaps, scrubs, poultices, deodorants, facial powders and masks. It is the mildest of all the cosmetic clays and is also used as a scent fixative. This is a very gentle product and can be used on most sensitive skins, it will draw impurities from the skin without removing any natural oils. Kaolin clay is also often used in shaving soaps to add 'slip'.
White Clay - the color is due to the extensive concentration of aluminum. It is the least absorbing and mildest of all the clays.
