Carnation Absolute is produced by solvent extraction of the flowers of Dianthus caryophyllus, the common garden carnation. Carnation is an olive green to green or orangebrown, viscous liquid of very sweet, honeylike, somewhat herbaceous, heavy and tenacious fragrance. Carnations are native to the Mediterranean area, prefering cooler climates, ours is from the 'flower fields' of Holland. Carnation Absolute is valued as a fantastic aphrodisiac, as well as a spiritually uplifting, motivating oil.
