Fire Engine Red Liquid Colourant

Fire engine red liquid colourant is the only liquid colourant we offer that is oil soluble. Our liquid colourants are mixed from FD&C colourants which are approved for use in food, drugs and cosmetics and/or D&C colourants which are approved for use in drugs and cosmetics in a base of water and propylene glycol. The colours remain true in most toiletries and cosmetics but some FC&C colours are pH sensitive, causing them to change when used in soaps because of the higher pH. The liquid colourants may be mixed to create your own unique colour blends.
Store liquid colourants between 68°F and 77°F for a shelf life of 12 to 18 months. To use the liquid colourants, begin at 0.1% and adjust until you reach the desired colour.
* The cold process soap was tested using 1/4 teaspoon of liquid colourant per 4 oz. bar.
